Maja Skywalker is a Force-sensitive human who once trained as a Sith Inquisitor. She met Luke as children and later, due to his influence, she deserted over to the rebel side. The two were eventually married after the end of the war, had four children, and adopted two more.

Prior to her marriage, Maja was surnamed "Inquisitorius" like all the other apprentices, but it was more of a title than an actual last name.

History of the character

Luke's attention was torn between the instability of his new Jedi Order and his young family, but sadly, the demands of the Order were more time consuming. His family began to see less and less of him, straining their relationship. One stormy night, Maja sought to confront Luke for his neglect and went to the Jedi base, leaving Anne at home in C1B1's care. Asplode and Kaboom were also commissioned to guard the house, since some rumor-believing locals had given the Skywalker household some trouble prior.

Inspiration for Maja's design and character came partially from her creator's own heart, but was also strongly based on Nausicca from Studio Ghibli's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
